EmbryoGlue® (EG)

EmbryoGlue® (EG) is a medium in which the embryo is cultured briefly before transfer to the uterus, known as embryo transfer. Its use may help create more favourable conditions for contact between the embryo and the uterine lining, thereby supporting the implantation process.

EmbryoGlue®

EmbryoGlue® is a special medium that can be used during embryo transfer as part of assisted reproduction treatment. It is designed to closely resemble the natural conditions in the uterus at the time of embryo transfer. It contains nutrients and energy sources needed by the embryo, as well as an increased concentration of hyaluronan – a substance that occurs naturally in the uterine environment and whose levels are increased during the period of embryo implantation. The presence of hyaluronan may help create a stable environment for the embryo immediately after embryo transfer and support its contact with the uterine lining.

Use of EmbryoGlue®

EmbryoGlue® is used for the short-term culture of the embryo in the final stage of laboratory preparation before its transfer to the uterus. The role of the medium is to ensure the smoothest possible transition of the embryo from laboratory conditions to the natural environment of the uterus.
